About
Everyone deserves to be heard. For over 15 years, I have gone to great lengths to create a culturally safe space to support people within our communities, enabling them to live peaceful lives and achieve and maximize their fullest potential. Many of these populations are working through acceptance of therapy as a solution. I understand that it takes courage to acknowledge generational trauma that impacts your understanding of your environment and more so to apply self-regulation techniques to mitigate challenges. So, I strategically guide clients of all ages patiently using a variety of Individual Counseling Approaches.
With this unique lens, I have seen significant success with students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD, youth presenting with behavioural challenges, as well as victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse. I also understand that the journey through counselling is a collaborative one. Therefore, I emphasize that the client’s story is paramount as we work on practical strategies to overcome, build resilience, and meet unique individual, family, and community goals.
